Autumn and Alec - The Millhaven Wedding Photos

If I had to choose only one word to describe Autumn and Alec’s wedding, it would be joyful. They are both kind, passionate people who just attract friends and loved ones who share that energy.
The first time I photographed Alec, it was as the head chef of a new restaurant in downtown Kalamazoo, and part of their marketing efforts meant documenting his sabrage (ie. opening a bottle of champagne with a knife, and I died of exposure to coolness). When I heard these two were doing a sabrage + champagne tower instead of a cake cutting, I knew Autumn matched, and then increased the amount of cool perfectly.

The whole day was full of smiles, and although it was my first time photographing there, I can’t recommend the Millhaven enough. Loads of amazing details and photo spots, and the staff is the sweetest.

Congratulations Autumn and Alec, I hope every day is just as joyful as this one!

Breanna and Robbie - Dark Horse Brewing Co. wedding photos

I first met Breanna and Robbie at a brewery (which is always a good sign) and I could tell immediately that they were my kind of people. Our meeting was probably 50% actually talking about the wedding and 50% discussing shared interests of beer brewing, their amazing early dates at the zoo, and other completely unrelated topics. It was wonderful.
They decided on Dark Horse Brewing Co. as their venue, and that is still easily one of my all time favorites. The setting, the staff, and of course the beer, all make for a fantastic day all around. Wanting to keep their wedding carefree and simple, they chose a relatively short amount of photography coverage, and I was completely in awe of what we got to capture in that amount of time.
Breanna, I have no doubt that Robbie will always look at you the way he did when you first walked down the aisle.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. O’Neill!

Mr and Mrs Price - Dark Horse Bewing Co wedding

What can I even say about Greg and Kristi? The minute you meet them you realize they’re exceptional people who are madly in love with each other. Our initial wedding consultation took place over craft beer, their engagement session fell on national beer day, and of course their wedding itself took place at one of my favorite breweries in Michigan. By the time the day was over, I felt like I had known them for years. I adore these people.
Chilly October temperatures made for some excellent reception blanket dancing (Best favor ever for outdoor fall weddings by the way) and the whole thing was laid back and beautiful, just like Greg and Kristi.

Congratulations you two! Looks like the Price was right.
